Lil bundle of sweetness
I am terrible at getting "studio" pics taken of my kids. I took Cooper to Target when he was 6 months old, and left incredibly unhappy after the camera man, while showing some serious crack, left me with a variety of not-so-good pics of Cooper to choose from. I was let down...and vowed to myself I would never take my kids to a studio like that again.
Now, I'm so happy to be near my loverly friend Skye who can actually take a great picture....and doesn't moon me in the process. The one time in my kids' life that I really want to capture is when they are newborns. Such a precious time that only lasts a few moments. So I hauled the fam over to Skye's and she captured some serious cuteness. Not to mention the cuteness of a baby who WOULD NOT sleep. Reese was so stubborn that I had to come back a second time and finish. Thankfully we got some cute shots...so thank you Skye! You rock.

I just wanted to tell you that your kids are adorable and you have a beautiful family! P.S. I completely feel your pain about going to Target for pictures, believe it or not, I had a REALLY similar experience!
i LOVE all of them...she did an awesome job! i love all the fun prints and of course the cute big flowers!
I love the pictures, they are perfect. I especially love the one of you and Reese (you are beautiful) I couldn't aggree with you more on stupid studios that charge you a butt load and give you aweful pics in return. I don't know Skye but she is awesome at photography!

I have to say that I actually stalk Skye's webpage. My mother-in-law is a photographer and would like to get into children's. We have spent hours looking at Skye's site and discussing it. Oh how I wish we lived closer to her (and could afford her! HA!) Amazing pics! I actually think the ones with her eyes open are adorable! She looks like she's trying so hard to stay awake!
Oh DANG cute!! She is adorable! Does she have all those cute props there or did you have to bring things? I actually emailed her a few months back to take pictures of this new little baby and Emery and she will be moving out of her house around then and so I couldn't book it! :( I want her to take them so bad!!
Oh and about the N-V stuff.. the textures are way too big to send all at once. I can try uploading them all at once somewhere and see how that works. It actually might, otherwise.. I could burn them all to a disc and get them to you that way! Whichever works. I am in Hawaii right now but can try it all when I get back!

You're too nice. =) It's so funny, Britt was just here a few weeks ago and she was like, you should meet this girl, she takes cute pics and is really fun, then she showed me your blog! haha! So your ears musta been burning cuz we were just talking about you. =) You DO take great pictures and the ones from Skye (Johansen right? LUCKY!) are beautiful too! ADORABLE KIDS! well, anyway, nice to "meet" you!
Oh, and I will be posting more house pics one of these days, but you may be disappointed! Not as cool as you think. I wish. I know the feeling of being in a decor rut. More like my decor budget is in a rut. crap.
