It was a good weekend

First off, I just changed a 6-wipe diaper of Cooper's. It's gotten to the point of dry-heaving. That kid has GOT to learn to potty train.
I absolutely loved this last weekend. I'm not totally sure why, I think it had to do with the fact that Saturday we had nothing planned...and that's how I love Saturdays. We just chilled, did a little christmas shopping (emphasize little....if it was a lot, it wouldn't have been a favorite day), and hung out as a family. My favorite kind of day, with my favorite people on the planet.

We've got a snow lover on our hands. Dave took Cooper out sledding in our neighborhood and he loved it, to say the least. I got a few pics before they left.

My oh my she is perfect. I just can't get enough of her sweet little personality. She is smiling so much now and loves to watch us. She brings such a calm spirit into our home. We love her so much!!! It's funny how we are the exact same parents as we were to Cooper...yet two completely different children have come from it. You name it...and they are the total opposite. Good things and bad :) But we love them both the same.

two of the cutest kids in the world. Brady was the first baby I can remember ever "loving". I never liked babies, never cared to hold them (before I had my own). But when I met Brady after he was born, I was smitten. At that time I remember thinking, hmmmm...maybe there's a chance I will like my own children :)

Oh hi.

The more behind I get on this blog, the more I don't want to update.
But I know you all are DYING to see our halloween pics, so I better post. HA. That wknd was pretty eventful for the four of us, it being the weekend we also blessed Reese. But let's start with Halloween....the greatest day in the history of the world....according to Cooper. He won't stop talking about trick-or-treating with mama, daddy, reese, and grandma and grandpa hank. (dave's parents...who he happened to name after their dog, Hank. We don't know, so don't ask) The weird part is that he hasn't asked for a single piece of candy since that weekend. Wonderful.
I ain't big on dressing up. Actually, I'm going to go out on a limb and say I downright hate it. So unless we are forced to dress up for a party, you will never see me in costume. Cooper was Thomas the train and Reese was a peapod. They looked mighty cute.
This is how much Cooper despises my camera

Reese's blessing day was perfect. We had our families come and the Wallaces (pretty much family). Dave did a beautiful job on the blessing and then we came to our house to pig out. It couldn't have turned out better. Well, maybe the rain could've stopped pouring :)

Oh and check out her AMAZING blessing dress. This was hand-crafted by my wonderful grandma, Hazel (who Reese is named after). She crocheted it herself...hat and booties included! I about died when I saw these. And yes, I photoshopped the crap out of her face. That baby acne ain't the prettiest...and I wanted her to look pretty in her dress. Not like I did in junior high. (but good news...it's finally going away)

p.s. I think heaven might be smiling down on me. This entire week both my kidlings have taken 2-4 hour naps AT THE SAME TIME. It's been a ray of light, I tell you. I've gotten so much cleaning done. HAHAHAHAHA. Yea right. The only cleaning that gets done while they sleep is the computer chair, where my behind sits.

Lil bundle of sweetness

I am terrible at getting "studio" pics taken of my kids. I took Cooper to Target when he was 6 months old, and left incredibly unhappy after the camera man, while showing some serious crack, left me with a variety of not-so-good pics of Cooper to choose from. I was let down...and vowed to myself I would never take my kids to a studio like that again.
Now, I'm so happy to be near my loverly friend Skye who can actually take a great picture....and doesn't moon me in the process. The one time in my kids' life that I really want to capture is when they are newborns. Such a precious time that only lasts a few moments. So I hauled the fam over to Skye's and she captured some serious cuteness. Not to mention the cuteness of a baby who WOULD NOT sleep. Reese was so stubborn that I had to come back a second time and finish. Thankfully we got some cute shots...so thank you Skye! You rock.
Ok, bear with me...I loved them all.
