Our lives are about to change

and this little stud has no clue what's coming

It makes me sad to know that it won't be me and him anymore...it'll be me, him, and a baby that will take most of my attention. Poor kid. I hope he will remain his gentle, sweet self after she comes. I'm trying to prepare him as much as possible, but how does anyone prepare for a baby?
Most pictures consist of me coaxing him to look at the camera....it just doesn't happen. Maybe once I have the camera in the baby's face all day long, he'll get jealous and want to be in more pictures. HA. I still love him to pieces.

I'll take it.

This little stinker has been waking up at 6 AM EVERY MORNING this week. It's killing me. Doesn't he know that soon I'll be up multiple times a night??? The timing is impeccable. And to make matters worse, now that he's in a bed he can hop out and come wake us up. It used to be that he would lay in his crib and talk for like 1/2 hour before yelling for us. Big boy bed ain't so fun anymore.
I have one more week to go. My doctor told me she'll be out of town this weekend until monday (I'm due monday) so cross your fingers I deliver before she leaves on thursday! I have a feeling labor will start the instant she takes off on that plane.

I am so jealous. You are basically done. Not to mention labor, delivery, and the discomforts of the last week anyways! I am super nervous about having the second child too. Hayden is beginning to sense it already. He clobbers my poor stomach now and I can't imagine trying to protect the poor child when he's out! We are still trying to adjust to the big boy bed too. He will run in to our room in the morning and yell, "WAKE UP, DOWNSTAIRS, TV, BREAKFAST, MILK!" It is such a sweet awakening.

I really excited! Have the contractions picked up at all? Maybe the baby will be stubborn like Kate was, and stay in you forever. Then Dr.L can be the one to deliver. Little Coop will do a great as a bro.

First off, your shirt is extremely cute!!! And I cannot wait for you!!! It may be tough for little Coop, but he will adjust. I can't believe you are gonna have two kids! And I can't wait to hear what you are going to name her!!!

Seriously he's waking up early because we were talking about it when I was at your house! I swear I'm so superstitious and we jinx ourselves time and time again! You look beautiful...and you'll do great with your new addition!

Haha, you say you're the size of a sailboat, huh? I can't imagine what your ankles look like then??

(jokes, jokes)

But seriously, you look just like you did with Cooper. Thin as a rail with a little Hollywood Baby Bump smack dab in the middle of your tummy. SO Lucky, you are.

Miss you :)

Ya know, I thought the same thing about having my second baby. That it would take time away from just me and my boy. But I honestly it has been just the opposite. I still have plenty of time with Porter while Ellery just hangs out in a swing, bouncer, crib, etc. Just now at 4 months she is becoming more a part of the 4 of us, playing with toys smiling and chatting. I am so excited for you to have a little girl, they are sooo much fun. (But I will warn, and try not to scare you. Porter didn't want anything to do with me or that thing in my arms when he came to visit me at the hospital. It broke my heart, but went away as soon as we were home!) GOOD LUCK!

P.S. The whole camera in the baby's face thing worked for me. Any time I set Ellery down to take pictures there he is, big cheesy smile and all!

oh man, isnt it amazing how they pick up on something? I think he knows that things are going to change...Scoty was starting to do weird things right before I had Rylee....including deciding to wake up in he middle of the night sick the night I went into labor...hmmmm....they are so perceptive!

STACE! AH I'm so excited:). You should put the child safety lock on the inside of coopers door so he won't wake you guys up, that what larisa and paul did for tino. But for different reasons as you can imagine! Can't wait to see this cute little baby girl and coopers face in all the pictures in awe of her!

It was so fun chatting with you at cooking group tonight!! I truly wish you the best with this delivery. You are sure a doll, I think you will do GREAT at being a Mom of 2 and a Mommy of a daughter. Once Cooper is adjusted to the new baby, he'll love it. I give him 2 weeks max.

Wahoo Stacie! The end is in sight, how exciting, scarey, mix of emotions. Oh, I know what you mean abou the one on one time won't be there like it was. I kept feeling sad for Maile too, but it kind of seemed like with Emmy around Aaron and Kamaile got really close. It was cute, cause she had always been kind of a momma's girl. I think Aaron liked it too. Good luck Stacie!!!
