Take it off. Take it all off.

That is pretty much what we told the hairdresser when we brought Cooper in to get his woman mane butched off. I'm quite pleased with the results. And the fact that I haven't used a brush on that hair since Saturday...Aaaahhhhh.

Last weekend was perfect. Dave took Wed, Thurs, and Fri off so we headed to Park City for a night which was great. For some reason I have been dying to stay in a hotel lately so that was surely a cherry on top. We pretty much ate, swam, shopped and relaxed. Friday we went to the zoo, finally. It was great weather and fun for Cooper to see the animals. Other than that we just hung out and did whatever we felt like. Cooper became insanely attached to Dave, to the point of insanity, because he was around so much. I went to drop him off at nursery, and sure enough, he cried until I went and got Dave to do the job. Still, I love these guys so much:

Have you ever heard of a child who ONLY eats the crust off the bread? Me neither.

Just watched Idol...go David Cook...he never fails to impress me.

Gimme the loops

All I want to eat all day is fruit loops. I gave in to temptation last week at the grocery store and bought a 10 pound bag of fruit loops. Since then, I have consumed an average of 2-3 bowls a day. Sickening.

So this morning, while laying in bed, I was quite sure I felt the little babe swimming around in there. I thought I have felt him/her in there lately but wasn't sure...this morning I was sure...and I loved it. We find out in less than 3 weeks what we're having! May 2nd to be exact. I sure can't wait. And something else I found to get me excited...the Dwell Studio line at Target. Cute bedding, cute clothes.

Cooper has been such a joy to be around. No one would know, since he is the shyest boy in the world, but he truly is such a happy and giggly boy. He laughs with me and smiles at the drop of a hat all day long. He is talking so much, he surprises me every day. The other night for dinner Dave's parents brought us a wonderful dinner, which consisted of broccoli....something I have never made. He kept asking for the "broccocli" the whole time. We were both like "what in the world, how does he know what broccoli is?" Anyway, it was cute.
However, because of the glorious weather Saturday and Sunday (and me and Dave spending most of it outside with him) he now thinks we should be outside every waking moment. It's 9am right now and he's got his shoes in hand begging to go outside.

Here are some happy pics of our sweet little guy

So today is the big tax day, which means Dave will finally be free of working 20 hour days. WOOOOOOOOOOO! We are celebrating. Dave is taking off the rest of the week to enjoy some much needed time with us. We were debating on taking a trip to California to use our Disney passes one last time before they expire, but instead we decided to go balls out and drive to Park City to stay a night. I know, we're animals. We're really excited though....we love that place.

A whole lotta this...

going on this week. Sunday afternoon I was positive I was getting a sunburn while sitting out on my parents' tramp....and then Monday morning I wake up to this...

I would say 'poor Cooper', but I know how much he enjoys staring blankly into the television set. So that sums up a lot of what we've been doing. But despite the bi-polar weather, we've enjoyed ourselves thanks to the South Jordan rec center for their fun kiddie pool, my parents' home 5 minutes away, and getting together with friends. As much as we miss California, I must say Utah has been an easy adjustment...thanks to all the fun people we know here.

Anyway, as I was blog stalking some of my fave photographers, I came across this cute website on Maggie's blog. I am in love with these onesies! Too bad they are about $13 more than I would pay for one...but it got me excited for the little peanut growing rapidly inside my tum. There's nothing I love more than fresh little baby clothes.

Isn't this cute??

Oh, and while I'm at it, I also found these CUTE announcements on Blonde-designs.com. I'll go ahead and add them to my wish list. My faves for a boy, then a girl. Actually the first one might not be boyish, I can't tell, I just love it:

Hmmmmm...I wonder what "it" will be?? I have an inkling, but we'll have to see if I'm right. I will be finding out I think in the next few weeks....WOOOO! I seriously can't wait.
